Overview

Designed and built by renowned custom builder Steve Bentley of Dust Motorcycles in Lancaster, this bike’s foundation is a naturally aspirated 1992 BMW R100R 980cc.

The last of the airheads. Only selling due to house move. Over 10k spent!

Stunning classic BMW it’s only had 550miles on new overhaul in dry.

MOT – new MOT on purchase or money of price…it’s immaculate as photos.

Standard frame, swing arm, engine and gearbox.

Engine has been completely professionally overhauled.

Mikuni carbs have been fitted along with an earlier starter cover, new starter motor and K&N air filter.

Fork internals were replaced and lowered 65mm. 

New CNC aluminium top yoke.

New rear Olins shock.

Wheels were stripped, powder coated and rebuilt with new anodised black spokes.

The front is running two 320mm discs. Brembo RCS 19 HPC clutch/master/tubes. Stainless braided brake hose.

Front light shroud, mudguard and seat/tail section are all bespoke, hand crafted in fibreglass.

Front fork guards are made from carbon, to match the tip of the Hindle silencer.

Vortex bars are the J Murphy Specials. Risers are FT12 Indians.

Earth X lithium battery.

The bike has been fitted with the excellent Motogadget M-Unit Blue. 

This acts as the control unit for the bike’s electrical system and includes full bluetooth connectivity to remotely monitor and set up the system. 

That includes the alarm and remote keyless start. (If you’re more traditional, the bike also has a traditional key start). 

It got built in 2022 in storage. I spoke to Steve Bentley before purchasing.

It’s all garaged ready to ride and be loved.
