One of a kind Triumph Bonneville Bobber. Heres the story – I bought the engine 8 years ago and then had J&B Classics ( search for Rasio motorcycles, J&B worked with Rasio and built a CX and a Ducati in the main hall at BikeShed 2015) build the bike to spec over the next 7 years while I sourced the parts, I gave them a high level look that I wanted and then left it up to them to build and they totally smashed it. I’ll try and capture everything they did but am sure I will miss something.
Engine:
78′ Triumph Bonneville T140V engine
New Pistons and Barrels and mild race cam
Top end rebuild
Brand new carbs and manifolds
Electronic ignition
Handmade exhaust with baffles
Rest of bike:
73′ T140 frame with handmade hardtail, all stripped of paint and treated with a dark wax
Harley wheels F & R
Harley forks, shortened and lowers decluttered
Custom seat on springs
Handmade bars with all brackets removed
Front brake cylinder mounted under tank with cable operation to keep bars clean
Pillion footpegs and reinforced rear mudguard tested to 13 stone person

The engine has done 7 miles since the rebuild, starts 1st or 2nd kick no problem. Will need some running in and then a engine bolt check to check torques after multiple heat cycles. Bike rides lovely and as the rake is stock it turns and handles well.
Reason for selling – this was the bike I wanted 8 years ago and things have changed and now its finished its just sitting in my garage so needs to go to someone who will use it. Its a hardtail so you arent going to go touring on it, but to pop to the BikeShed to hang out, or a Sunday morning ride to the coast then this bike will definitely make you smile.
Its MOT and TAX exempt, has a brake light but no other lights, these could be fitted as the engine will support a lighting system but it wasnt the look I wanted, you could always buy a set of high power cycling lights that could be clipped on if you were caught out in the dark I guess.
