Overview
We built this MRD Matisse during covid as a lockdown project and it has evolved since then in to the bike you see today. It was entered into the Bikeshed 2022 show and then on display in their Shoreditch HQ for a year after that. It had done very few road miles since we built it and then been stored ever since. It was originally a Pat French built bike at MRD Metisse and the frame has his rare oil level inspection cover modification. The Grimeca 4 leading front brake is the best drum brake I have come across and when paired with the T140 750cc engine you can go as well as stop.
The specification as follows:
Triumph T140 750cc engine

Rear BSA/Triumph conical hub

Holts works full alloy body kit
Red Rickman seat
Boyer Brandon electronic ignition
Belt drive and clutch
Triumph TT exhaust
Dunlop k80 130/80/18 flat track tyres
New Amal premier Carb
