Up for sale is my beautifully customized 1977 Honda CB550, built by the renowned team at Inglorious Motorcycles. This is a reluctant sale, forced solely by an upcoming move abroad.

This bike has been meticulously transformed into a sleek, minimalist custom while retaining the iconic soul of Honda’s legendary 1970s SOHC inline-four. No expense was spared on the details, combining premium handcrafted elements with high-quality retro aesthetics.

The Build Details:

The Custom Work: Complete build by Inglorious Motorcycles.

Cockpit & Lighting: Features a minimalist “Shotgun” style speedometer and rev counter setup. Up front sits a clean, single halogen headlamp cleverly integrated with a built-in “idiot light” indicator panel.

Finishing Touches: Beautiful Brompton leather grips with solid brass ends, perfectly matching the bespoke, handcrafted leather seat.

Lighting: Ultra-clean mini LED indicators keeping the profile incredibly sharp.

Rubber: Rolling on a fresh set of classic Firestone Hot Rod tyres with deep, aggressive vintage tread.

Exhaust: New Jama exhaust system that gives the 550 a deep, period-correct throatiness without being obnoxious.

Suspension & Braking: Upgraded with new suspension for a vastly improved, confident ride. The brakes have also been recently overhauled and fixed, stopping exactly as they should.

Electrical: Fitted with a brand-new battery.

Mileage & Running Condition:

Mileage: 40,000 miles pre-customization / Just 1,600 miles covered since the build was completed.

Condition: The bike starts cleanly from cold and runs well.

A Note for Vintage Buyers: While this bike looks and rides beautifully, please remember she is a 1977 classic. It comes with all the character, charm, and quirks of an older machine. It has been loved, looked after, and is ready for the next owner to enjoy.
